Whipped Orange Float

When the game (or the weather) starts heating up, tailgaters tend to reach for something that offers a little extra chill factor. My family appreciates that this Orange Creamsicle Float only includes three ingredients and requires no fancy blender or mixer, just your favorite team tumbler. Truly a float for football fans, this chilled concoction comes together so quickly, cocktail connoisseurs will be back on the sideline before the end of the timeout.

Friendsgiving Bar Cart

Earlier this month, we shared our Friendsgiving party. What is a party without cocktails? It is no secret that I love a bar cart. I have used mine as a pie bar, biscuit bar, hot chocolate station, and even a place to store party favors.

For our Friendsgiving bar, I wanted to have a station for guests to make their own cocktails. I made sure to include different types of liquor along with our fall flavors of Jackson Morgan Southern Cream. I added a few fall staples such as cinnamon sticks and winter liquor favorites. Since this was a tasting party, the main cocktails were on the table on the tasting papers and the bar cart stored extra for anyone that wanted something different to sip on.

I kept the dripping dried moss and glass pumpkins from our Halloween party and used it on the bottom of the cart with liquor and pumpkins, since the holiday season goes by quickly I try to purchase decor that will work with several holidays. To tie in the table theme, I included napkins that coordinated with the table runner. A battery operated candle inside of a large glass pumpkin completed the cart.

Cheers!

Summer Peach Fizz

Our friends at Old Dominick, a new liquor company in Tennessee, partnered with us to create a few fun cocktails. The summer peach fizz is one of my favorites, it is light and the presentation is the best part. You can shop this post below.

Summer Peach Fizz

3 oz Jackson Morgan Southern Cream in Peaches and Cream

1 oz Old Dominick Honeybell Vodka

1 oz Lemon Juice

Egg White

Directions:

To make this delicious cocktail, combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for several minutes, this is an important step you will not have the fizz part of the cocktail if you do not shake in a cocktail shaker long enough.

Stain and pour carefully into a tall glass. Enjoy immediately.

Spiked Whipped Orange Milkshake

This is one of the cocktails I served at our summer bbq, you can find more details about that party here. There is something classic about a whipped orange creamsicle that just takes me back to my childhood, without the alcohol of course. This adult version is a favorite amongst my friends and one of our most requested recipes.

Spiked Whipped Orange Milkshake

Ingredients:

1 1/2 Ounces Jackson Morgan Southern Cream in whipped orange

3-4 Scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream

Whipped Cream (for Garnish)

Orange Creamsicle Cotton Candy (for Garnish)

Directions:

For this tasty cocktail, add vanilla ice cream and Jackson Morgan in whipped orange to a blender and blend until well combined. You may need to add more ice cream depending on how thick you want your milkshake. Pour the mixture into a chilled glass, then top with whipped cream and orange cotton candy. I found the creamsicle cotton candy from Sugar Drop and it was a huge hit at the party.
