Salted Caramel Ice Cream Dessert

It is officially fall, but in the south it still feels like summer. Hopefully it will cool off soon. In the meantime, we have one last Jackson Morgan spiked ice cream recipe that will help you get through these last few weeks of hot weather. This dessert is easy to make and you can add your favorite toppings to make it even more fun.

Salted Caramel Brownie Sundae

Sundaes are not just for children, this "adult" version would be fun to serve at a party or create a sundae bar with different toppings. Our salted caramel cream adds a fun flavor to this dessert.

Christmas Dessert Bar

Yesterday, I shared our Christmas dinner table. Today I am sharing something way more fun than dinner, our dessert bar. I love to display desserts on a table so everyone can see what is coming after dinner.

I had different styled cake stands to hold the desserts. These fun plates from Pottery Barn were the perfect dessert size. I used my favorite Hester and Cook's Santa placemats as a runner.

For sweets, I had pumpkin cheesecake, spiked peppermint mocha cake made by Heaven Layers of Sin, bourbon pecan pie, and gingerbread cookies.

The gals at Nora Fleming sent over this cute message board for the holidays. I used it to countdown until Christmas. I cannot wait to use it to display a dinner menu or a drink recipe.

What are you eating for dessert for Christmas?

Spiked Caramel Pumpkin Bread

Pumpkin Bread

Pumpkin bread is a staple this time of year. It reminds me of my childhood, when my mom would make it every year. William-Sonoma released a caramel pumpkin bread mix that I just had to make.

To make the pumpkin bread, follow the directions on the back of the package. For the milk ingredient, I used half Jackson Morgan salted caramel and half milk. After the bread cooled, I added pumpkin butter on each slice. This bread tasted and smelled amazing!

I served my pumpkin bread on this fun Nora Fleming bread plate with the pumpkin attachment.

Super Bowl Bar Cart

I have never been much of a football fan, but like any southern gal I love entertaining for big games like the Super Bowl and of course tailgating. No football party would be complete without sweets and tasty cocktails. I love to pair desserts and cocktails together on a bar cart. It adds a fun flair to parties.

For the Super Bowl next weekend, I whipped up these mini salted caramel milkshakes (see recipe below) which paired quite nicely with Brightside Bakeshop's salted caramel rolls (she spiked with Jackson Morgan just for us). I also made mini brownie bites and piped white icing to make them look like footballs, which is so easy and makes for a fun dessert.

Halloween Cookie Parfait

Spiked Cookie Parfait

For my Halloween porch party, I served these fun spiked cookies and cream parfaits. They were a crowd favorite and very easy to make.

·   1 Package of Oreos

·   1 Cup Jackson Morgan Southern Cream in Salted Caramel

·   1 Box Vanilla Instant Pudding

·   1 Cup Milk

·   Whipped Cream

1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together Jackson Morgan Salted Caramel, pudding mix, and milk until thickened.

2. Place oreos in a zip lock bag. Using a rolling pin or mallet, crush the oreos until crumbled.

3. Next assemble your parfaits. Alternative layering pudding, oreos, and whipped cream until your glass is full. Garnish with whipped cream.
